Karen uses assessment as a foundation to prepare for, initiate, and maintain behavioral change within a corporate setting. She translates the organization’s strategic needs into a customized performance plan for each individual or team with results tied to the business impact. Her coaching clients are leaders who must balance competing strategic concerns in a fast paced world.
Combining her skills as an applied psychologist with 18 years of engineering and business experience, Karen uses a practical, hands-on approach to consulting. Her recent success as the Coaching Practice Leader for the Southeast region for the world’s largest human resources consulting firm includes accolades for profitably managing one of the fastest growing practice areas for the company. Her corporate management experience is in the telecommunications industry.
Education:
Karen graduated Summa Cum Laude in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and completed her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Georgia. Her unique engineering, sales and business background has proven absolutely essential when working with top leaders across many industries.

Karen consults with clients ranging from small, privately owned organizations to some of the largest companies in the world. Her client roster includes C-level clients and board members for Fortune 500 companies. She has coached and assessed senior leaders in the United States, Canada, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia.
Instrument Certifications / Trainings:
Karen is a licensed psychologist. She has considerable experience with a number of commercially available assessment tools, including Myers-Briggs (MBTI), Hogan Leadership Profile, and the 16PF. Karen speaks is very active in the international community as well as a member of several professional organizations including The American Psychological Association-Consulting Psychology and Industrial/Organizational Psychology Divisions, The Southern Society for International Studies and the Women’s Business Networking Group – Georgia Tech. She is a faculty member for the Global Institute for Leadership Development and a doctoral level committee member for a doctoral candidate at the Alliant University School of Management. She is a trained Marshall Goldsmith Behavioral Coach.
