Experience/Background:
Libby Frisby has practical line (Mfg, Materials Management) and HR Experience. Libby’s training in HR came after her business line roles and was focused on Organizational Development, HR’s role in a Global Competitive Environment, Designing and Leading Organizations just to name a few. Libby has extensive experience as a senior executive and as an internal executive coach. Libby was a member of the Nektar(NKTR) executive team throughout the preparation for and the launch of Exubera, the first inhalable insulin approved by the FDA and the European Union.
Libby has been a successful senior executive in both high tech and biotech companies and fully understands the responsibilities and challenges that are inherent in positions at that level. Libby has designed and developed organizations both as the leader in HR organizations and as an internal consultant to other senior executives. She has also participated in M & A activity from due diligence through integration, including organizational structure, on-boarding employees and cultural assimilation. Libby has the confidence to support and to challenge her clients to ensure a successful outcome in organization development and coaching engagements.
Libby has been a speaker at a number of Bay Area HR and Biotech organization events. Her credibility is based on both her knowledge of the field and her ability to articulate current issues and potential solutions. Libby has been a mentor to many of the more junior level employees and has been especially committed to coaching minorities and women who are aspiring to succeed in professional organizations.
